About Us

My name is Austin and I live in Kennesaw, Georgia. Even though I have a great family and friends and play basketball and baseball, I was bullied in elementary school making it hard for me to go to school. My stutter made me a target of bullies who made fun of the way I talked. I didn’t want to read out loud in class or even ask questions because I knew my classmates would make fun of me. Then one day my Mom told me something that I will never forget. Everyone -- and I mean everyone -- faces bullying at some point in their lives. We all have challenges and bullies are unkind people who want to make others feel bad. They love to point out our weaknesses and make us feel like we don’t belong. When I was 8 years old, my Dad got me a French Bulldog. I named him Spike. It’s funny, because this breed of dog is known as a “bully” because of the breed’s name and facial expression. Spike has been anything but a bully to me. He is a great dog that always shows me love. On my worst days, I get to come home and hang out with my buddy Spike. He is the best friend a boy could have. When it comes to bullies, stay positive and don’t let them get to you. Always remember you are a child of the King (Jesus Christ) and that makes you a prince!
